Gary Wayne Courtois was born on November 30, 1952 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Carl & Mary “Lucille” (nee Wickerham) Courtois. He died on October 19, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus at the age of 68.
He married Patsy Lynn Moss on February 15, 1975 at St. Rose of Lima Church in De Soto; he is survived by his wife, Patsy Courtois of De Soto; his daughter, Joyce (Karl Kramer) Radford of De Soto; his son, Gary Michael (Julie) Courtois of Fenton; grandchildren, Hayden Radford, Emma Radford, Wyatt Radford, Sophia Courtois, and Isabelle Courtois; and siblings, Carl (Geneva) Courtois of Festus; Carol (Richard) Cautrell of De Soto; Janet (the late Eldon) Hayes of Festus; and Terry (Judy) Courtois of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Walter Courtois and Dale Courtois.
Gary was a member of St. Rose of Lima; and a member of the UAW Local #110. He was retired from Chrysler and served in the Army National Guard.
