He is survived by his wife, Lynda (nee Reando) Baker, De Soto, MO; one daughter, Heather (David) Missey, De Soto, MO and one son, Ryan (Lindsey) Baker, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Corey Ryan Phelps and Colton Robert Missey; six siblings, Richard “Dick” Courtois, De Soto, MO; Judie Trask, De Soto, MO; Betty Sampson, De Soto, MO; Barbara Baker, De Soto, MO; Mary DeClue, De Soto, MO and Terry Baker, De Soto, MO; and his dog Comet. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janet Hess. Garry worked as an inspector for Union Pacific Railroad.
