Franklin Delano “Frank” Pendergrass was born on October 13, 1935 a son to Ira Huron and Ruby Mae (nee Cole) Pendergrass. He died at Mercy Hospital South on March 15, 2023 at the age of 87. He is survived by three children: Beverly (Randy) Henslee, Hillsboro, Dale (Tina) Pendergrass, De Soto and Douglas (Starla) Pendergrass, Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one brother Robert “Sonny” (Dianna) Pendergrass, St. Louis. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bernadine Gail (nee Galloway) Pendergrass a sister Mary Ruth (Jerry) Thurman and one brother John Paul Pendergrass. Frank served in the United State Army during the Korean War and had retired as a foreman/welder for C.S. Lewis Petroleum.
