Eula M. Underwood was born in Washington County on January 19, 1924 a daughter to Henry and Mary Josephine (nee Courtway) Deering. She died in De Soto on March 1, 2014 at the age of 90. She is survived by her children: Lisa (Paul) Haverstick, De Soto, Sheila Campbell, Springfield, and Russell Underwood, De Soto; five grandchildren: B.J. (Cathy) DeClue, Diane (Steve) Ringling, Dustin Williams, Alex Haverstick, and Herbert Campbell; four great-grandchildren: Brynden Michalek, Brian Reynolds, Israel Ringling, and Grace Ringling; one great-great-grandchild: Brielle Reynolds; and two sisters: Marion Filkins, De Soto and Virgie Armbruster, De Soto. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Russell Underwood, a granddaughter, Denise DeClue; three brothers: Earl Deering, Lyndell Deering, and Buford Deering; a sister-in-law; Eileen Deering; and a brother-in-law: Lloyd Filkins.
