Ervin N. Moon was born September 18, 1940 on the Moon family farm in rural De Soto a son to Lee A. and Ethel M. (nee Brod) Moon.  He died at his Terre Du Lac home on July 23, 2011 at the age of 70.  He is survived by his wife Georgiann (nee Henry) Moon who he married on October 19, 1974.  Also surviving is a sister Loretta Moon, De Soto and a brother  Lee Roy (Carol) Moon, De Soto. He is preceded in death by his parents: a sister Bernice Moon; and a step son Shawn Head. Mr. Moon was a farmer and also worked for 20 years for Jefferson College in the maintenance department.  He served on the Moontown Cemetery Board, was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church, Bonne Terre, and while operating the Moon family farm it was designated a Century Farm. Rev Michael Kelpe and Rev. Gene Moses will officiate the service with burial to follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, De Soto, MO.  As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the Centenary Methodist Chruch, 20 Park Ave., Bonne Terre, MO  63628.
