Ellis H. Byron was born on October 13, 1918 in Leadwood, MO; he was the son of Albert & Nellie (nee Todd) Byron. He died on February 22, 2011 at the Villa’s in De Soto, MO at the age of 92.
He is survived by his wife, Violet (nee Thorn) Byron of De Soto, MO; two sons, Mike (Vicky) Christopher of De Soto, MO and Gary (Bobbie) Christopher of Bonne Terre, MO; grandchildren, Cody Christopher; Drew (Julie Ann) Christopher; great grandchildren, Brendan and Alexa Christopher.
He worked for the Street Department for the City of De Soto. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Thelma Byron, and one grandson, Matthew Christopher.
