Edna M. Hawn was born in St. Louis a daughter to James H. and Scedell (nee Pinder) Newcomb on August 28, 1934. She died April 13, 2014 at her Hillsboro (Ware) home at the age of 79. She is survived by two children: Joan (Ray) Payton, Hillsboro and Jerry (Cindy) Hawn, Hillsboro; three grandchildren: Amanda (John) Riddle, De Soto, Kristen (Bob) Boyer, De Soto, and Jordan (Danielle) Hawn, De Soto; three great-grandchildren: Clayton Riddle, Sydney Riddle, and Hailee Hawn and is expecting her forth great-grandchild: Jackson Boyer; and two sisters: Irene Zierenberg, St. Louis, and Shirley Rawlings, Meadville, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Craig C. Hawn; a son Dennis Hawn; a grandson: Brandon Hawn; three sisters: Mollie Hickman, Scedell LaChance, and Mildred Stark; and four brothers: Joe, James, Charles, and William Newcomb.
