Mary Dorothy Koch was born in Richwoods on August 28, 1927 a daughter to Theresa (nee Coleman) and Vincent S. Schutte, Sr. She died on July 14, 2021 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre at the age of 93. She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years Charles. E. Koch; three children: Richard S. “Rick” (Brenda) Koch, De Soto, Michael C. (Mary) Koch, De Soto and Victoria Koch (Robert “Junior”) Johnston; two grandchildren: Brian (Heather) Koch and Melissa (Danny) Brown; four great grandchildren: Matt, Joe, Brian “Bri” and Drake and one brother Vincent Schutte, Jr., Peoria AZ. She is preceded in death by two brothers: John A. Schutte and his wife Drewanna and Joe Schutte whose wife Virginia is living in De Soto. Dorothy had retired as the Office Manager for Smitty’s Home Decorating and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Circle No. 659 Daughters of Isabella.
