Donald Lee Null was born in De Soto on February 26, 1938 a son to Edward Ross and Cecile (nee Davis) Null. He died on July 22, 2022 at Baisch Nursing Center at the age of 84. He is survived by two children: Terry Lynn (Sheri) Null, Alexandria, LA and Donna (Frank) Ruch, De Soto; five grandchildren: Dustin (Chelsea) Null, Jason (Keri) Null, Cory (Samantha) Null, Amber Ruch and Tyler (Jennifer) Ruch; nine great grandchildren: Alexis, Mason, Skyleir, Lillian, Kaden, Tyler, Grayson, Gracelynn and Georgia; two sisters: Doris  Johnson, De Soto and Cheryl Morrison, Farmington; one brother Norman  Null, De Soto and a dear friend John Patterson, De Soto. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sandra (nee Cash) Null. Don and Sandy had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary before her death on January 1, 2020. Don is also preceded in death by a son Paul Null; a sister Carole  McManus and two brothers: Glynn  Null and Ronald Null; two sisters in law: Leola Null and Doris Null and two brothers in law: Harry Johnson and  Ken McManus. Don had retired from the Chrysler automobile assembly plant in Fenton, had served with the De Soto Rural Fire Department for 36 years, much of that time as Fire Chief and was a member of Luckey Baptist Church. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Luckey Baptist Church Building Fund, 5252 Hwy Y, De Soto, MO 63020.
