Delores Hamel was born in De Soto on October 19, 1932 a daughter to Ferman and Ova (nee Rider) McAnally. She died on May 30, 2023 at her De Soto home at the age of 90.  She is survived by one daughter Donna (Kenny) Bahr, Festus; one son Terry (Carol) Hamel, High Ridge; grandchildren:  Cody (Leslie) Bahr, Carley (Joel) Pruetting, Nathan Hamel, Cara (Nick) Barthelmass and Libby Hamel and great grandchildren: Charley Bahr, Colton Bahr, Jet Pruetting, Jemma Pruetting, Lyla Barthelmass and Zachary Barthelmass.  She is preceded in death by here parents; husband, Harold Roswell Hamel; two sisters: Valera (Walter) Shepard and Grace (Bern) Rousan and five brothers: Carless (Lora Mae) McAnally, Bob (Lavena) McAnally, Leon (Sue) McAnally, LeRoy (JoAnn survives) McAnally and James (June) McAnally.
