I remember Dave as an honorable man, one to be respected and admired for his courage and strength. It was always a joy to see him walk into the bowling alley and bar. He was a friend to many and will be sadly missed.

My uncle Dave was just 4 years old when I was born & I was the first born neice in the Wallace Family. My uncle has always seemed like a brother to me because of the closeness of our ages. I have many fond memories of him & will miss him. He was my last uncle living on the Wallace side. We had lunch together in Florida this past January 9th at Bob Evans & I am so thankful that I got to visit with him then. He always made it a point to keep in touch. We have a family reunion planned for this August & he told me that he was planning to be there. He will be missed.

I became friends with Dave a few years back thru Cona. He always had a big smile on his face and a very friendly hello every time I seen him. Very nice genuine person. I will miss him!

Julie and I were deeply sadden by the sudden loss of Dave.
We have had many great times with Dave in Florida while on vacation. We had great games of gin rummy with Mary and then Cona. Even greater times at the R-Bar listening to Mike and all the great 50-60's music. Dave will be missed more for his generosity toward every person he knew. I wish we could bring him back but we know he is in a better place and will always be in our hearts and mind. Always Love Les and Julie.

Will remember fondly as a warm, caring gent. Dave was the first person Chuck and I met when we moved to DeSoto in 1994. You always find friends in a bowling alley. Dave helped us prove that theory. I remember his only regret was that he didn't build it night enough to help keep the noise level down.
Dave will be missed. Very sorry for the loss to his family and friends.
