Clarence J. Peters was born on June 30, 1939 in Saline, MO. He was a son to Charles and Agnes (nee Beel) Peters.  He died on January 25, 2019 at Baisch Nursing Center at the age of 79.  He is survived by his wife Patricia “Pat” (nee Cook) Peters.  Clarence and Pat were married on December 5, 1959 in St. Louis.  Also surviving are three daughters: Angela (David) Masterson, Festus; Regina (John) Hasty, DeSoto, and Trisha (Paul) DeMarco, De Soto; nine grandchildren: Joshua Hasty, Alicia Hasty, Cynthia (Danny) Bowers, Helen Stuthers, Emma DeMarco. Dominic DeMarco, Andrew DeMarco, Samantha Richardson, and  Zach DeMarco; nine great-grandchildren: Alex, Pamela, Stacy, Nathan, Hunter, Buck, Carolina, Adalynn, and Kace; one sister: Shirley Thiele, Cape Girardeau; two brothers: Herman (Cordelia) Peters, Cape Girardeau and Ralph (Betty) Peters, Marble Hill, MO; and two sisters-in-law: Marie Peters, O’Fallon, MO and Kathleen Peters, Marble Hill.  He is preceded in death by his parents; one great-grandaughter Isabella; and three brothers:  Albert Peters, Theodore Peters, and Leroy Peters. Clarence was a retired chemical blender for Merial Ltd. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a 4th Degree member of  Knights of Columbus Council #1185.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society, 324 South 2nd St., De Soto, MO  63020.
