Christopher Charles Schoelhamer was born in St. Louis on May 29, 1947 a son to Karl and Mary (nee Tyndyk) Schoelhamer.  He died at his Warrenton home on November 13, 2024 at the age of 77.  He is survived by two daughters: Christina (Chris) Cosgrove, Warrenton and Natalie “Mandy” Schoelhamer, Warrenton; two sons: Brian Schoelhamer, Washington, MO and Jason Schoelhamer, Warrenton; his grandchildren: Justin (Meghan), Evan, Dylan, Trevor, Zachary, Michael, Emmalee, Aaliyah and Hali; three great grandchildren: Stella, Nora and Josephine; two sisters: Joyce (the late Al) Kitchell, De Soto and Mary Ann (Steve) Sansoucie, Old Mines; a brother Kenneth (the late Dorothy) Schoelhamer, Festus and numerous nieces and nephews,  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Barbara Jean (nee Denny) Schoelhamer; three sisters: Shirley Lawson, Theresa (the late Dave) Lunsford and Janet (the late Arlie) Sanders and one brother Michael ( the late Fay) Schoelhamer.  Christopher had retired from the Ford Motor Company automobile manufacturing plant in Hazelwood and was a member of U.A.W. Local #325.  He was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoying hunting and fishing with his family and grandsons.  He loved listening to music and playing horseshoes late into the night where he was known to “Bring out the Hammer”.  The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care that they received from Sandy and Three Oaks Hospice.
