Carl Carrol Harris was born in Paris, IL on December 14, 1938 a son to Raymond Carl and Imogene (nee McIntyre) Harris.  He died on February 8, 2025 at Mercy Hospital South at the age of 86.  He is survived by his son Todd (Lillie) Harris, Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren: Brittany Deaton, MeKayla (William) Rhodes, Kaitlin Willcutt, and Dylan (Kelbi) Mueller; six great grandchildren: Olivia, Ryker, Peyton, Nora, Lila and Maverick; a son in law Steve Willcutt, Richwoods; eight siblings: Nancy Boyer, Gatlinburg, TN, Barbara (David) Adams, Jonesboro, IL, Nellie (Mike) Spangler, Barnhart, Pete Harris, Cadet, Thomas (Joan) Harris, De Soto, Dorothy (Tommy) Williams, Potosi, Ike Harris, De Soto and Rosie Ward, Paris, IL and a brother in law Stanley Pinson, Cadet.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Joyce (nee Sampson) Harris; a daughter Dawn Willcutt; two sons Keith Harris and Troy Harris and eleven siblings; Sharon Pinson, Violet Harris, Billy Harris, Eddy Harris, Sandra Harris, Sammy Harris, Larry Harris, Tim Harris, Mike Harris, George Harris and Bonnie Harris.  Carl served in the United States Army and retired after 24 years of service in the Missouri National Guard. He had  retired as an  inspector for the Chrysler Automobile manufacturing plant in Fenton and was a member of U.A.W. Local #136.  He was a member of the De Soto Christian Church and AmVets Post #48.
