Amy Jeanne Joedicke was born in Crystal City on June 4, 1964 a daughter to Charles Elmer and Frances “Fran” A. (nee Blecha) Missey. She died at her De Soto home on November 9, 2024 at the age of 60. She is survived by her mother who lives in De Soto; her husband Jeff Joedicke, her son Chris (Djuna Graves) Joedicke, Hillsboro; her grandson Boston Joedicke; a sister Jennifer (Joe) Missey, De Soto; two brothers: Anthony “Tony” (Jenifer) Missey, Potosi and Gary (Sue) Missey, De Soto; three sisters in law: Joyce (Dale) Graham, Garden Ridge, TX, Marie Schuh, Hillsboro and Tracy (Matt) Zoph, De Soto; three brothers in law: Roy (Mary Lee) Joedicke, De Soto, Emil M. “Matt” Joedicke, Jr., De Soto and Steve (Linda) Joedicke, Sr., De Soto; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kathy Nicholls. She is preceded in death by her father; two brothers in law: Alan Schuh and Albert Allen Joedicke. Amy had worked as a school bus driver for 19 years for the De Soto Public School District and then at the De Soto Wal-Mart for 15 years. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
